I believe that, if you check back, you will see that this was discussed in the news at one time .

Nevada and Iowa have passed gaming bills in their states to regulate and start online poker no telling how long it will take as of now it looks like the federal government is not interested in passing a federal gaming bill but leaving it up to the individual states for the moment. There were some articles in the past two issues of card player magazine that covered this topic.

Exactly. I haven't yet read the articles you mention but its becoming clear each state is going to regulate players within their borders. Preventing them from playing at sites any other state other than the one the are presently in.

I expect it will unfold very similar to how Lotto launched.
Lotto was initially just individual states or "intrastate". Only after 15-20 years passed did we start to see multi-state or "interstate" lotteries.

My guess in less than 1 year,online poker in us will be a BOOM! it will all change and the gov. will make a lot on taxes

i just dont know what took them so long all the money out there are us gov would have alot of chips by now lol
