I know they are working right now to make it legal but it's take time to make it to it, but I does hope it become legal again in United States.

I live in UK and to be honest it sucks playing on sites like stars at the moment. only people i play are russian and german and so most of them dont talk :( . . I am positive that some states have already legalized it tho.

Actually the Doj made poker legal recently like a few weeks ago

The doj decided that it is no longer nes to restrict poker cause it was in truth not beneficial to them lol which is mainly the only reason they do anything US GOV...

Poker can be a sport only if it playd live...online poker..well i don;t know what to say..the poker site's are not that legal from my opinion and their poker softwere are not that impartial.Live is a diferent game and yes that can be a sport

I guess the real question is when do you think the major sites (e.g. Pokerstars, etc.) are going to allow US players again? I hope soon. I love online poker, but don't want to play just for play chips. Lame!

Do I see regulation in the future? Yes! I can't see it happening in 2012. Hopefully 2013. However, do I think sites such as PokerStars a part of this. No!! They are already indicted by the DOJ and I the new US sites will be US based casinos with online rooms, such as Caesars, MGM, etc. The interesting thing is whether the sites who exited when the UIEGA was passed will be allowed back in (ie PartyPoker, 888, PKR, Titan, etc). I think play chip play is like a baseball player training playing wiffle ball. Eventually, your skills erode with the play chip donks.

By the end of this year Online Poker will be legal in USA... It is all so close and I for one can not wait... The game will Blow up when it happens and there will be so many sites to chose from.
