Three hands into my poker session in Tunica, MS. I pick up AA UTG everybody limps, until a drunk guy in middle position makes it $35.00 everyone calls the raise, even the small blind. Now I have a big decision to make, and here is why; I had been watching the game before I sat down and I knew that if I made a huge re-raise I would get called in a minimum of three spots. I don't like AA with four way action knowing it may be five way action. So here is what I chose to do. I flat called the $35.00 raise, two more called after me making it 7 way action. YES YOU HEARD ME RIGHT! Anyway the flop was As-2h-10h, now here is where I have to try and protect my hand sooo.... I bet 300.00 a slight over bet to the pot, well a guy in 3rd position made it $700.00 now at this point I am wishing I had bought in for more than $500.00, then the original raiser moved all in for $1,200, well it didn't stop there another guy in late position called for a little over $600.00 everyone else folded. Well the turn was a 6d and the river was a 8s. The only hand I saw was the guy in third position who showed 1010 for the side pot. Anyway, I drug a $2,285.00 pot on my third hand of play for a profit of $1,785 minus a generous tip of course. #BREAKTIME

What a nice win! A's are scary in multi-way pots, but i commend you for realizing that, calling a flop, and then capitalizing on the opportunity and taking down the hand (and a very nice pot)! Great job! :)

That is very good win,but i have one question what if there was no ace on the flop?what happend no ace and u lose all your money to a king 10?i myself never play aces like that, since i seen lot of shitt happen when u slow play aces, but i guess we are diffrent but i must say well done

Limping aces from UTG is horrible, Aces do not play well in a multi way pot especially seven handed. The idea is to thin the field with an open here. In the long run play like this is going to cost you $$$. Consider yourself lucky and enjoy it while it lasts.

That is a great pot to rake in for sure but here are my thoughts on how the hand played out.

Regardless of getting called in 3 spots I would much rather raise big and go to the flop 4 handed than 7 handed. Your chances of holding are much better against 3 random hands than 6. Other than that once you flopped a set there wasn't much you were going to do except get it in so the hand played itself post flop.

Results oriented much. Your post is full of contradictions. You say you don't like AA multi-way, yet you limped in UTG? Ignoring that misplay, you then flat, giving players behind you odds on a call? You pretty much did everything wrong, and then coolered the shit out of someone with set over set. Must be nice.
