Yes, it does bite a little that we cannot verbally rail our Team/friends at a Final Table, but I do understand some of the reasons Carbon doesn't allow it. So there will be no trash talking from the rail, no begging, etc.
Even though I cannot verbally let the player know I am cheering them on, I still watch and rail to the end. They can still look to see if anyone is railing the table and there are always lessons to be learned in poker. When they take it down or finish second you can congratulate them in chat at the end.

I suppose that the rest of the team that is no longer in the trny could get together on Skype while railing the table! Pizza, beer, and good times!

I am often sidetracked from game when acknowledging the rail. If my typing skills were above a first grade level i might not be as diverted.

Yeah thats a bummer..On stars we did that in the league they had. Was fun then. Sure there would be Boooo's also. If you dont get banned for it.

Not to mention that on other poker rooms you can use the webcam (in some tournaments) .

Yea it was fun in the FTP days but it does distract, I kinda like the no chat but it would be cool for the league games I think the option to have it would be cool

I agree with the sheepo, skype is great for this. even if no one has a headset, all can be in same chat box and effectively cheering the teammate(s) on. yahoo also has this capability, if one doesnt like skype.

hahaha!! First grade level..mine as well... by the time I'm finished typing everyone has moved on to another subject... Hell it's taken me a 15 minutes to type this.. for me to have any kind of success I have to concentrate and not think about what the conversation is.

I think it would be nice if each player had the option of allowing chat or not during a game. I have yet to play in any of my clans games as my BR will not allow it ( but I'm workin' on it ). I do rail occasionally but not being able to even let them know I'm there....gets kinda lonely and doesn't make for a good time for me

We should open a special place in the forum titled "Final Table Railing?" OR even just a new thread for each one? Or even just write in the thread for the game?
It does stink that we can't rail in the chat box, but there has to be a way around it or something...
