Don´t know exactly, but I guess the teams can vary between 2 and 10 members.
Well the advantage is that you participate with your team in the league and you can win additional money at the end of the league.
And in my opinion it is much more fun to play as a team member.

You just have to contact any team member asking him if u can join their team. Minimum ppl per team is 2 i dunno about the max members possible in a team maybe 10 m not sure. U get points in every league based on ur performance in the league if u make it in the top 10 u get a lot of pts and if more than 1 team member makes it in the top 10 ur pts wud rise even more. Based on these pts there is a cash reward which will be split by all team members. One thing to keep in mind is to try to not register for a tourney if u feel u may not be playing it because that will bring down ur teams overall score. All in all i feel u may as well join a team and then play in the league its more fun and wud make u want to perform better.

Minimum of two players, maximum of 10 players per team. Currently as the league is constructed there is no benefit to giant teams. The US army style of outnumbering the opponents wont work here.

Sure it,s better to play as a team , try to find some members , 2 minimum required , but i think , that it will be good to have about 4 - 5 , if someone finished long away the top prizes , your another mates can do that , and you will have a chance for a leaderboard team prizes , that,s not bad as it seems , and for sure more interesting to play not alone , and have some mates.

From my past experiences and being here since the launch, it seems like the 2 person team is the way to go. Becuz if you win one of the three prizes at the end of the season you only have to split with just two instead of five or ten members or however many members you have on a team. If you go deep and your teammate doesnt , the score average will help you out better vs a larger team. And also the larger team has a disadvantage if they are on the same table and have to take each other out to avoid colluding. I plan on downsizing my team next season.

All teams should be even at 3. Dream team poker style. Then everyone would have a fair chance.

2 players is no cake walk. I don't know why everyone is always with the 2 players is such an unfair advantage. Play a 2 player team game and see how you do over a full season. When you see how hard it is you will be crying for the comfort of your huge team. What benefit would a 4 player team give?

All here is just care of money or what ? sure if you want money and you good at poker tables , make team wtih 2 members ,try your best , but seriously , will it be so funny and amazing ? seems it,s will be a bit booring , that,s not such a big money , so it,s seems , that 2 players is not enough , more players = more fun
