Ok well the opening Ceremony starts in a few hours in London. We hope to show the world that we can hold an Event that the world can say that was " The best Yet" It seems that we in the UK are getting into the Spirit of things i even did when i went to see the torch pass my house about a month ago at the crack of Dawn. Got to admit i wasn't that interested until that point when i thought "Come on bring on the Olympics. Any way quick poll as to how interested you are in the games

An absolutely stunning beginning with great music too . Fortunately for me , I'm off on holidays , so I will watch most of the Olympics , it will give me an excuse not to do some work around the house , lol . I also , love the Olympic spirit , tradition and the competition of the best athletes in the world . Bring it on , I'm ready , from my lazyboy chair !
There is supposed to be 5000 hours available of Olympics coverage. I should see about 70 hours worth in the next 2 weeks myself.
I think the hilite of the Olympics for the opening ceremonies was the Queen Mum jumping out of the helicopter before James Bond jumped out. That was too funny.

that was class the james bond bit. Shows what a good sport the old girl is. As for the opening Ceremony . I think we put on a good show. That Cauldron thing with the 7 Kids lighting it was a fantastic Idea and very effective. My little village has a young girl Jamie Jewels,she is on the Canadian Para Olympic Basketball Team going to London after the main Olympics and competing,our small gas station store has a Canadian
Flag and everyone from the village has signed it and will be presented to her in London,she has come a long way since her horrific accident,that happened here in Donkin 5 years ago,so best wishes go out to her...and as a side note please remember to wear your seat belts!
