Thanks guys for the replies. Yes it is very different. Also I was somewhat nervious. The first hand I caught was pocket Q's My hand was shaking so that I could hardly pickup the chips lolI also bet too heavy on a good hand and run off all to money. But we live and learn.

Yeah i love live poker with live people aren't so willing to splash a bunch of chips when they have to put up the cash ahead of time if you have a chance to get back there you should try one of mtt byins i like the $40 or $60 bys you don't win a lot of cash but it is so much fun and you meet some real nice people

Wish i could play a live game for cash where i live here in texas,but we do have a honky tonk that plays for prizes ,nothing like winning a beer tab and meeting good folks for free.lmao

I'd probably get run over since I have no chance of reading other players and no doubt I have some great tells. But still it would be fun to get into a low stakes game or tournament.

I love playing live way more then online and dont do to bad but hard to get off my ass when donks and fish are just a click away lol

Was going to go play at our local poker room last night at the hollywood casino. They have a nice poker room in the lower section of the casino with a multiple limits and tournaments and they run abad beat jackpot. The nice thing about the badbeat jackpot is that ALL live cash table limits are able to win it, you do not have to play on a certain table limit like some poker rooms require you to do to be eligible for the jackpot. Anyway things didn't owrk out due to the storm here so I stayed home and was gonna go tonight instead. Check the casino's website today to see exactly where the jackpot total has rising to, last night it was a $162,000 but this morning the website shows it at just a little under $12,000 so it appears it was hit sometime between yesterdday and this afternoon.....

Live the game is very good but now is so difficult to find places where they play and if you find it is usually a dealer out there is that sometimes leads to big loss
