Top-rated poker software
Established in 2004 following the online poker boom generated by Chris Moneymaker's fateful WSOP Main Event Championship win, Full Tilt Poker is the product of a group effort by professional poker players Chris Ferguson, Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey, Andy Bloch, and Allen Cunningham as well as several others, to create a player-oriented online poker room. Every detail and aspect of the Full Tilt Poker software is the result of discussions and suggestions offered by career poker players familiar with the common issues players encounter in both live and online poker room situations.

A year after Black Friday, PokerStars sought to purchase the assets of Full Tilt Poker. The two currently remain as the largest online poker providers in the world.

As a site heavily influenced by poker legends, Full Tilt Poker also sponsors a rapidly growing number of poker players who have turned professional. While continuing to cater to the needs of first-timers who are interested in learning how to play poker, Full Tilt Poker is actively cultivating the latest generation to take on poker as a vocation.

Presenting members with an impressive variety of poker forms, poker players of every type - from the specialized to the well-rounded - will find plenty of action to suit their needs. The constant tournament schedule and extensive range of stakes bring in player traffic of every skill level and playing experience. And because Full Tilt Poker accepts players from anywhere in the world, including the US, there are always cash games running, sit and gos seating, and multi-table tournaments scheduled.

Rush Poker, Full Tilt Poker's patented poker cash game for player's who lose patience waiting for the next hand, can keep even the shortest of attention spans engaged. Constantly whisking players from one table to the next, every player is always in on the action. Each time a player folds their hand, they are immediately transported to another table, and dealt into a new hand.

One of the first few online poker rooms to have completed development of a poker client that is compatible with Apple's Mac OS X platform, Full Tilt Poker provides continual updates to both the Windows and Mac poker software. The Mac poker download at Full Tilt Poker has been tested to run on any Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

Maintaining a dedication to providing the utmost security and integrity for their players and games, Full Tilt Poker utilizes the latest in encryption technology and automated monitoring systems to ensure fairness and safety for all of their members. The random number generator responsible for simulating the shuffle of the cards between each hand has been thoroughly tested and certified by an independent auditing company to verify that every deal is fair and unpredictable.

While the Full Tilt Poker television advertising campaign has proven remarkably successful at attracting new players to the online poker room, the expanse of rewarding promotions, freerolls and tournaments have taken things a step further to maintain a new player's interest in becoming a more serious poker player. The Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) has proven wildly successful, with an enormous guaranteed prize pool that has grown tremendously since the very first $1M prize pool offered in FTOPS I. A gratifying 100% bonus match on the first deposit, referral bonuses, and one of the least complicated player reward systems in the industry give Full Tilt Poker an edge that many online poker sites simply cannot compete with.

Overall, Full Tilt Poker provides an environment conducive to learning and improving one's poker game play. With stakes for players of every level and ability, as well as educational materials and self-analysis tools, Full Tilt Poker is an online poker site that encourages players to challenge themselves to become the best.
Full Tilt Poker Bonus
Fast-claimed $600 bonus
Wide selection of running bonuses
Use points to shop in the FTP store
Use rewards to qualify for live events
New Full Tilt Poker members making their first initial deposit are eligible for the Full Tilt Poker bonus, which matches the amount of the player's deposit 100%, up to $600. As with any other online poker bonus, in order to convert the bonus into useful cash, a player must engage in real money online poker games. As points are earned, Full Tilt Poker converts the bonus into cash. In addition, players keep the points they have earned, which can be used to purchase items from the Full Tilt Poker store, or to gain entry into select freeroll tournaments.

To make a deposit, open the Full Tilt Poker software client and log in. Then click the big, red Cashier button. Select Make a Deposit, and Full Tilt Poker will guide the user through the rest of the process. Full Tilt Poker offers a variety of trusted, secure deposit options for transferring funds into a player's account.

Claiming the Full Tilt Poker bonus is relatively easy. All players who make their first initial deposit are instantly eligible to begin earning the sign-up bonus. The Full Tilt Poker welcome bonus is earned by accumulating Full Tilt Points (FTPs), each worth $.06. The points at Full Tilt Poker are automatically added to a player's account records every time a player participates in a raked cash game, or pays an entry fee to a Full Tilt Poker online poker tournament.

One way to earn points in order to clear the Full Tilt Poker welcome bonus is to play real money ring games. Simply for being dealt into a hand in a Full Tilt Poker ring game, every player in that hand will earn one point for every $1 that is raked from the pot, regardless of which player wins the pot. Partial points are awarded in cases in which less than one dollar is raked. Each player in a Full Tilt Poker ring game can earn up to 3 points per hand.

Sit and gos and multi-table tournaments also provide players with points at Full Tilt Poker. Every dollar of entry fee payments is worth 7 Full Tilt Points (FTPs). In a $5+$.50 tournament - where $5 goes to the prize pool, and $.50 is the entry fee - a player would receive 3.5 FTPs (7x$.50=3.5). Full Tilt Poker does not put a cap on the number of points a player can receive for paying tournament entry fees, thus a $2,000+$100 tournament would earn a player 700 FTPs simply for entering the tournament.

The Full Tilt Poker bonus is automatically added to the player's bonus account upon making that first deposit at Full Tilt. As FTPs are earned, the bonus is released into the player's real money account in increments of 10% of the first deposit, or $20 (which ever is lower). If the player deposited $600 in order to receive the maximum bonus, the Full Tilt Poker bonus would be released in increments of $20.

Players will have 120 days to earn the Full Tilt Poker bonus before anything remaining in the bonus account expires. As enough points are accumulated to earn another increment of the bonus, the bonus amount will be automatically transferred into the player's Full Tilt Poker cash account; there is no need to manually transfer the cleared bonus into one's account.

In addition to the instant first deposit bonus eligibility, each player who makes their first initial deposit at Full Tilt Poker will also receive a ticket to the $100K First Deposit Freeroll tournament. The freeroll is held at regular intervals, and offers a $100,000 prize pool to further enhance players' Full Tilt Poker bankroll.

Example Full Tilt Poker Sign-up Bonus Scenario
Upon completing the installation of the Full Tilt Poker download, a new member registers an account with Full Tilt Poker. Deciding to make a deposit in order to participate in real money online poker games, the new member clicks Cashier and Make a Deposit, then chooses to deposit $200 using QuickDeposit, by eChecks. Once the deposit is complete, the new member shows $200 in their real money account, and $200 in their bonus account.

As the player participates in real money cash games, they earn 1 Full Tilt Point for every $1 that is raked from a pot. In addition, the player also earns 7 FTPs for every dollar paid in tournament entry fees. Once the player has earned 333.33 points at Full Tilt Poker, $20 is transferred from the player's bonus account into their real money account. If the player reaches 3333.33 FTPs before the 120 day deadline, the player will clear the entire $200 bonus, effectively doubling the player's first deposit amount.

Additionally, the new player will keep all of the FTPs they earn clearing their bonus. These FTPs can be used in the Full Tilt Poker store to purchase Full Tilt merchandise and accessories, or to enter exclusive online poker freeroll tournaments in which the entry fee is paid in FTPs rather than cash.

For 5 years...when i say poker i am thinking on Fulltilt, because was the only site with awsome design, pure originality and best tourneys! I think is the first pokersite in the world, and for me doesn't important what the other statistics said! I discovered lonly when i heard about poker, and after that started to learn there. Is quite important that in front of all the things that had happened in his history, it doesn't affect the image if his noun! Is the perfect place to play like a recreational player, because the difficult of the site is growing with every new impact of players!

If u want to make carrier in poker, play like a regular here!

FTP was and still is my favoring site to play on. The software is the best in the industry, still to this day. I use to play cash games and big tournaments on FTP back in the day and dearly miss the play. I'm really looking forward to the day that US players are allowed back on for real money. When that day comes, Full Tilt will be bigger and better than ever!

but I don't recommend it at ALL

I lost ALOT of money there, by being stolen, with unbelievable excuses from FTP team

and the case they went through lately is the best prove, as they got shut down by federal gov ;)

I miss the Iron Man. Worked for it every month. I also got several great things from the Full Tile store. A fabulous, first rate, leather coat. IT will never be the same. Even if they make it back they willbe so overwhelmed with US taxes the rake will be unbeatable.

I really don't see much difference in the software.

If there was one site i would not trust with depositing one thin dime, this is the one!As a matter of fact, back in 2009 i smelled something rotten here,& thats when i stopped depositing anywhere, but it all started here.

The only thing good is the shiny, cartoon software & the ease of use, which is convenient

Man its weird how if you stand here you cant do that, but stand over there and you can??? I may be stupid but cant we all just have the same rules. Then that what be 1 world government and thats scary. I will just play on Carbon Rivers. Shove Full Tilt where the sun dont shine and tells us when we can play and not tease us DOJ. AKA- Dirty Old Jerks. They get more stars when I use the software.

...Unfortunately living in the states, I’ll not be allowed to play any cash games once they reopen. Having to go thru the DOJ and submit a form to acquire a refund of funds stuck on the site since “Black Friday” is gonna be a big azz hassle in my opinion, luckily the balance is not too high and I’ll not have to send extended personal information like the players who balance exceeds $3500.00USD in real monies.

Also wonder if the DOJ may try to deduct tax revenue to any or all refunds and or if they will have access to player account histories of players seeking larger refunds to assure those members who play the higher limits reported any income on their taxes from playing poker at the site...

Not that I have time to play poker anymore but anyway.

Also you get Club Points for posting reviews and we will be implementing them in more places on Poker.org in accordance with our longterm goal to make the site completely member driven.
