About Full Tilt Poker
Created in 2004, Full Tilt Poker was the brain-child of several professional poker players including Chris Ferguson, Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey and Andy Bloch. The site was very successfully around the globe and quickly became known as one of the top providers of online poker. However, when Black Friday took place Full Tilt Poker was shut down and remained out of service, leaving players without access to player accounts. Thankfully, The Rational Group saved the day and ended up acquiring Full Tilt Poker and in 2012, the site was live once again.

Players can now access the same great gaming at Full Tilt Poker, which operates on an independent network. FTP provides a large player base, with thousands of players online during peak times, taking advantage of several poker variants. These games include Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Seven Card Stud, Omaha Hi/Lo and Seven Card Stud 8 or Better. Each variant is available in several formats with low, mid and high stakes cash gaming and tournament options.

Full Tilt Poker provides not only great gaming options but also premium bonuses, promotions and contests. Players can easily take part in satellites for seats to major tournament events, freerolls and more. Top poker pros are also now associated with the site including Tom Dwan, Gus Hansen and Viktor Blom. Play against the pros or take advantage of the generous loyalty scheme to get the most out of poker game play!

Fulltilt is far better than the average poker site. There are soooo many types of games to select from, not to mention for various levels of play at many buyin levels. As stated in another review, the graphics are a little cheesy, but we can live with that.

Full Tilt has made a great comeback. It was dead and buried, but now it is resurrected in all its former glory.

The software is just superior to Pokerstars in every way. The avatars are just great fun, I love the pandas, its a private thing with me and a poker bud.

The amount of games on offer, the variation, the buy ins, there is something there for everyone. Peak time trafic is good and even in the dead of night, theres a game to be found.

The promos show plenty of imagination and again, theres something for everyone there. Its not just all about those playing the higher levels and higher buy ins. Thats good for any site these days.

If you like your poker fast and furious, Rush has it all. There are tables at every level and even some Rush tournaments now. if that doesn't satisfy your need for speed, nothing will.

All in all, Full Tilt is back with the bg boys of the online poker world. I thought long and hard about going back there, but I did, and I have some good fun there playing the micros and points FTP games. The only thing that could improve the place now is allowing players from the USA back, but that depends on the US Gov, not Full Tilt.

I enjoy playing there, I made a deposit and the players points are easy to use even at low level games and are also easier to reach. I can buy tournaments tickets on a regular base.

I did not know that I would enjoy 'FTP' (Full Tilt Poker) when I had downloaded the software.
I had come across an awesome promo that was running for new players that signed-up. Which entitled new playes to tourney tickets to play certain tournaments.
I am so glad I joined when I did.
I am in love with the fact that FTP and PokerStars are related. It couldnt have got any better.
I am failry new to the platform. So FTP will have to earn that 1/2 a star.
To receive a 5/5 rating.
I had 'accidentally' registered myself into a Rush tournament! Now, All that I can is that "I LOVE the RUSH POKER!"

I always thought Full Tilt was a bit too cartoonish for my tastes. But functionally it was comfortable, and the graphics were easily customized. I put it at #2 all time.

It was the first site i ever played for real money and i really miss playing there it is my favorite by far no matter what happen in the past. If the site ever allowed players from the US to play again id leave merge in the dust and never look back.for me Full Tilt has the total package i look for in playing poker.

I personally missed Full Tilt a lot and welcome it back forsure . I liked the layout of Full Tilt , the software , the times of the games and the varietyof games that it has . I also liked the way to store a lot of information onplayers . Although I haven’t given the new Full Tilt site a real every day tryyet , just the occasional game , I am more than willing to continue to playthere and the good thing is that I have both money and coupons still on therefrom before , so that’s great !

This site is one of the better ones, the playability was definitely more fun and the style was pleasant. It would be nice to be able to play real money, so as with most of the sites that is its downfall.

But, it remains one of the best sites.

When ftp was still available for the US I liked playing there and I wish they would come back to the US, everything seemed a little bit more legit! I have played a few of their play money games just to see if it was the same and the flops still seem to be more legit than any other site out there!

I was born as poker player on FTP (call me a FTP baby
) so I was pretty happy it returned when it did!
. I know some people frown upon the graphics on FTP and the avatars (maybe, I don't know) but I actually like 'em and for me it makes for a more enjoyable experience. The software all in all is very good (very easy to navigate too!) and it's good to know the parent company of Stars is running it now!

+ Good software
+ Good graphics
+ Variety of tournaments
+ Easy to navigate
+ Mac compatible

- Only lil snag right now is that only the Hold' Em tables are very well populated and the rest isn't

Closest thing to Poker Stars at one time. Full Tilt was a enjoyable site to play on and i had some success there. Loved the mini FTOPS series. Hope to see them back in the USA soon.

I use to start plaing there, well desing room, goods promotion/bonos and rakeback. Lot of players and usually tournaments full of players, nice level but sad if you are beginner..jejetournament all the time and freerolls every hour, regrettably since the room start againg there almost no more private tournament or practically very few...one important point is that in the weekend there are very important tournament with lot of prices..so i recomend it a lot.

For 5 years...when i say poker i am thinking on Fulltilt, because was the only site with awsome design, pure originality and best tourneys! I think is the first pokersite in the world, and for me doesn't important what the other statistics said! I discovered lonly when i heard about poker, and after that started to learn there. Is quite important that in front of all the things that had happened in his history, it doesn't affect the image if his noun! Is the perfect place to play like a recreational player, because the difficult of the site is growing with every new impact of players!

If u want to make carrier in poker, play like a regular here!

FTP was and still is my favoring site to play on. The software is the best in the industry, still to this day. I use to play cash games and big tournaments on FTP back in the day and dearly miss the play. I'm really looking forward to the day that US players are allowed back on for real money. When that day comes, Full Tilt will be bigger and better than ever!

Even if I luved FTP for years

and I still deep from inside my heart miss playing there

but I don't recommend it at ALL

I lost ALOT of money there, by being stolen, with unbelievable excuses from FTP team

and the case they went through lately is the best prove, as they got shut down by federal gov

I miss the Iron Man. Worked for it every month. I also got several great things from the Full Tile store. A fabulous, first rate, leather coat. IT will never be the same. Even if they make it back they willbe so overwhelmed with US taxes the rake will be unbeatable.

I really don't see much difference in the software.

If there was one site i would not trust with depositing one thin dime, this is the one!As a matter of fact, back in 2009 i smelled something rotten here,& thats when i stopped depositing anywhere, but it all started here.

The only thing good is the shiny, cartoon software & the ease of use, which is convenient

A good site that might come back.with real money play.i liked just about every thing about the site.full-tilt was my second choice after poker stars. full-tilt had many other things to do besides grind on the tables.there were many instructional programs and poker school 'classes' that were very helpful in understanding the basics of play.

This has been my favorite poker room for many years. I love the software, promotions and FTOPS. I can't quite put my finger on it but there's something about the whole package which makes me want to play there. Hopefully, when they relaunch, it will have a lot of traffic like before.

Man kind of sick of this talk. Nothing but talk and us U.S Pros are ever gonna play anyway. Pros.
So all who can play, have fun and lucky you tax free money makers. Man its weird how if you stand here you cant do that, but stand over there and you can??? I may be stupid but cant we all just have the same rules. Then that what be 1 world government and thats scary. I will just play on Carbon Rivers. Shove Full Tilt where the sun dont shine and tells us when we can play and not tease us DOJ. AKA- Dirty Old Jerks. They get more stars when I use the software.

My opinion on fulltilt as changed drastically since poker stars took over,ok the software is still the best, but the late reg is excessive to say the least, the fact it now as casino games is also a minus to me,as the poker games I used like playing as diminished boredom drives me into the casino.so I don't play on tilt no were near as much as I used to.

The half star is only because of the issues lately...But other than that I payed primarily at FullTilt poker and loved the tournaments and software! I miss the daily doubles, Iron man challenge, the sunday tournaments, FTOPS, Mini FTOPS and must of all RUSH!! I really hope USA will be able to play again there someday soon after they get back to operating!

...Unfortunately living in the states, I’ll not be allowed to play any cash games once they reopen. Having to go thru the DOJ and submit a form to acquire a refund of funds stuck on the site since “Black Friday” is gonna be a big azz hassle in my opinion, luckily the balance is not too high and I’ll not have to send extended personal information like the players who balance exceeds $3500.00USD in real monies.

Also wonder if the DOJ may try to deduct tax revenue to any or all refunds and or if they will have access to player account histories of players seeking larger refunds to assure those members who play the higher limits reported any income on their taxes from playing poker at the site...

I wanted to be the first to try out the new member reviews system we just added to the site. I think Full Tilt Poker has by far the best software ever, and I'm very glad they're opening up again.

Not that I have time to play poker anymore but anyway.

Also you get Club Points for posting reviews and we will be implementing them in more places on Poker.org in accordance with our longterm goal to make the site completely member driven.
