The majority of Sulsky's winnings according to
Highstakesdb.com came from a 3.5 hour, 800-hand session of $100/$200 PLO against a well-known foe, Ilari "Ilari FIN" Sahamies.
Sulsky won several of the past 24 hours' biggest pots from Sahamies, who in turn ended as yesterday's biggest loser with a $223,000 deficit to go down more than $700,000 for the year.
Sulsky, in turn, will extend his lead as the winningest player of the year on PokerStars, with profits now nearing the $1.5 million mark.
His closest opponents on the yearly ranking are now "EireAbu", who is up $1.3 million, and "bernard-bb", who is up $1.26 million.
Jens "Jeans89" Kyllönen, who started out 2012 as the biggest winner and the first to reach the $1 million profit mark, is also still going strong, although he has now dropped to fourth place with profits of $1.1 million.
Yesterday also saw Viktor "Isildur1" Blom drop $50,000 at the tables for his yearly losses to reach $823,000.
The Swedish Team PokerStars pro is now the second biggest loser of the year, only surpassed by "Zypherin", who is down a whopping $1.7 million so far.
