Bounty Shootout final table dominated by Americans
Shaun Deeb, among three other fellow-countrymen, has made it to the final table of the PCA Bounty Shootout, having knocked out the highest number of competitors along the way.
Two days ago, 216 players across 36 tables fought to conquer their respective tables and proceed to the next round in this “winner takes it all” tournament, the Bounty Shootout taking place at the PCA in Bahamas.

$25,000 is awarded to the player who earns the highest number of bounties throughout the tournament. A bounty is a prize award given to a player who knocks out an opponent. In this tournament every knock out is worth one bounty which equals $1000.

In the lead for the $25,000 is right now American Shaun Deeb with seven bounties to his name.

After Day 1, 36 players were through to next round after winning their preliminary tables.

The players were spread out on 6 tables for round 2, trying to win another table to proceed to the final.

Young Italian Dario Minieri who knocked out all of his competitors on Day 1, taking five bounties with him to the next round, was eliminated early on Day 2.

The six players coming through are the Americans Shaun Deeb, Scott Baumstein, Mike Binger and William Pilossoph, Canadian Andrew Chen and German Marko Neumann. They are all secured at least $50,000 – 10,000 for winning their first round and 40,000 for reaching the final table. The champion takes home an extra $200,000.

The most experienced player among the remaining contestants is Mike Binger who on the way to the final eliminated his brother Nick Binger.

The final table commences Sunday at noon, local time.
