Daniel Negreanu had a very successful WCOOP run, making an impressive 15 cashes in 52 events worth $119,193. The results made the Canadian the second most prolific player of the series.

Daniel Negreanu had a terrific run at the recent WCOOP series, making a full 15 cashes from playing in 52 events worth a total of $119,193.
Negreanu, who has openly admitted to be working hard on improving his online game, made his biggest cash in Event #61, the $10,300 8-Game, in which he finished fifth for $52,500.
Other big scores included taking home $48,000 for finishing fourth in the $10,300 NLHE and $4,313 for ending in 34th place in Event #53, the $530 Rebuy NLHE.

Full Contact Poker, Negreanu reveals that part of his success came from thorough preparation, as well as the star admits to have taken the events more seriously this year than he has done before.
"In preparation for this year's WCOOP, I did a bit more homework than normally and really planned on taking the events seriously, regardless of the prize pool" Negreanu writes.
"If I'm being completely honest, my online tournament results have never been very good, and the main reason for that is that I just never cared too much, but since the WCOOP has become such a prestigious event, I wanted to do the best that I could, which meant preparation," he added.
Wiih fifteen cashes, the preparation seemingly worked out for Negreanu, who can now boast of ending the 2011 WCOOP as the series second most prolific player in terms of individual cashes.
The only player to make more was Canadian "Big_Nemo", who ended up cashing a full 17 times throughout the series, awarding him the honor of the WCOOP's most overall most successful player.
On the WCOOP leader board, however, both Negreanu and "Big_Nemo" had to give way to Joel Adam "2FLY2TILT" Gordon, who took home the title Player of The Series with a total of 295 points.
Gordon, who earned $96,097 throughout the WCOOP, will now be awarded with the WCOOP Champion's Trophy, an EPT Season 8 Grand Final Prize Package, a 2012 SCOOP Main Event ticket, a 2012 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Package and a special edition chip set.
