Groupe Bernard Tapie lawyer Benham Dayanim has denied allegations that the investor group was hesitant in finalizing the takeover of Full Tilt Poker. The group was prepared to move ahead but was obstructed by the DoJ, Dayanim claims.

Poker legend and four-time WSOP bracelet winner Thomas Austin Preston Jr, aka "Amarillo Slim", has passed away at 83 years of age. Preston died in a hospice last night following a lengthy illness.
