Fast-fold Hold'em arrives to the iPoker Network
Players on the iPoker Network will now be able to enjoy the new Speed Hold'em, a fast fold game developed for the iPoker software. The game will at first be offered at $.02/$.05 up to $.50/$1.
iPoker has introduced a new game format to its players by launching its own fast-fold poker game, the so-called Speed Hold'em.

The game is still in beta testing but was launched for the iPoker client earlier this week, supporting NLHE and PLO games.

The game works in the same way as many other variations of fast-fold poker by allowing players to instantly fold their hands and move to a new table to keep up a high game pace.

The method was first introduced by Full Tilt Poker at the room's Rush Poker and has since grown to other corners in the industry.

Following Full Tilt's closure last summer, the most popular fast-fold poker game right now is PokerStars' Zoom Poker, which has grown tremendously since its launch this spring.

The new Speed Hold'em will add iPoker to the number of networks who have their own variations of the popular game, bringing the option to sites like Titan Poker, Winner.com and Poker770.

The first Speed Hold'em games will be available at low stakes in the downloadble iPoker client only, running at $.02/$.05 to $.50/$1.

This is pretty sad imo. iPoker network (Playtech software) has soooooooo much work they need to be doing to even just begin to catch up with their competitors & instead of spending just a bit of time on that, they're developing a rush-type game instead. After experiencing a 2mth+ fk up with their software after their big 'lobby upgrade' & with their customer support refusing to admit there was even a problem, I just think it's ridiculous to hear what they're spending their time on.

Come on iPoker. Lets get the basics covered first please!

I'm not really interesting in those Rush games, but I know a lot of players that does love it.
As for me I still prefer normal cash game table than these rushing tables.

Turbo games are actually already to fast for me, i really dont like this fast tables, theres nothing in them that really attracts me, i only played turbo games when began on poker, with the time i just started to hate them, once they are full of what i call the "AK maniacs" ....so this "new" fast tables are even worst, lots of "players" shoving all in with every damn Ax or Kx...... really dont have patience for this kind of games......... =PP
