iPoker considering split into two separate networks
The iPoker Network is reportedly considering to allow the network's biggest brands to break free into a separate unit. The divide would create two independent online poker networks under the iPoker banner.
The iPoker Network is considering breaking up its operation into two separate entities, Pokerfuse.com reports.

The break would allow the network's biggest brands to split away from the rest of the player pool, effectively creating two segregated groups of players.

The information comes to Pokerfuse from a "source close to the issue", who has revealed that the network's largest poker rooms wish to differentiate themselves from the rest of the group.

If completed, the break-away could come into effect already within two months.

The source does not unveil which rooms wish to break away, but the currently a core group of rooms make up for a dominant part of the iPoker player pool.

iPoker
Large weekly tournament schedule
Industry leading software
Soft competition with loose action
Swift and reliable 24 hour support
This group consists of some of iPoker's most successful skins, including Titan Poker, William Hill, Betfred, Paddy Power and Bet365.

Apart from these brands, the iPoker network currently encompasses more than 40 skins making the Playtech-run network the third largest in the world.

The news about the potential split of the network's operations comes shortly after the Ongame network initiated a similar process, effectively creating a network within the network called Ongame2.

The creation of Ongame2 has been unannounced, but has reportedly pooled Betsson, Betsafe, Betfair and Unibet in a separate sub-network.

iPoker has not yet made any statements regarding the plans and was unavailable for comments on the issue, Pokerfuse writes.

Hmm, sounds like interesting news. So it will maybe allow to play at two different rooms at a time (if they are not in the same network anymore)

It's both bad and good news, don't really like to move over to another network to be able to play there, IPoker is great and customer support for Titan Poker is the best.
