Finnish PLO expert Jens "Jeans89" Kyllönen was last night's second-biggest winner, recording a solid $155,184 profit. With the win, Kyllönen is now the biggest winner of the year with more than $1 million in profits.
Jens "Jeans89" Kyllönen last year finished as the fourth-biggest online winner of all with profits of almost $1.4 million.
Now, less than two months into 2012, he continues to crush the mid- and
high stakes PLO tables on
PokerStars.
Kyllönen was last seen in action last night, where he managed to secure himself a healthy $155,184 profit, the second biggest of the evening, only surpassed by Rafael "refaelamit" Amit, who won $197,610.
The money came from a series of 38 intense PLO sessions, which saw the young Finn log a total of 2,029 hands, according to numbers from
Highstakesdb.com.
The result is one of the biggest from Kyllönen this year, but perhaps more importantly, it also means that he will now take over the top spot as the biggest overall winner of 2012 with profits of $1,074,973.
He is also the only player so far to break the $1 million dollar profit mark in 2012, with his nearest competitor "patpatman" so far being up $973,130.
Third on the list is Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky, who has won $740,658, followed by "bernard-bb", who is up $682,096.
Meanwhile in the other end of the rankings, some of the best known online pros are still struggling to make a profit this year.
So far, the biggest yearly losers are Phil "MrSweets28" Galfond, who is down $663,653, followed by Viktor "Isildur1" Blom, who has lost $455,746.
