Jonathan Duhamel's WSOP Main Event bracelet resurfaces
The 2010 WSOP Main Event bracelet that was stolen from Jonathan Duhamel during a home robbery in December has resurfaced. The damaged bracelet was found by a street sweeper in Montreal.
The 2010 WSOP Main Event bracelet that was stolen from champion Jonathan Duhamel during a home robbery in December has resurfaced, according to local reports.

The bracelet was taken from Duhamel during a home robbery on December 21st, 2011, alongside a large amount of cash and a specially crafted $10,000 Rolex watch.

The robbery was soon after found to have been planned and executed by a local gang, headed by Duhamel's own ex-girlfriend, Bianca Rojas-Latraverse.

Both the watch and half of the cash was since found and delivered back to Duhamel, but the bracelet was still to surface until this weekend.

According to PrincePoker.com, the bracelet was found by a street sweeper in Montreal, who reported to have come by its battered remains while cleaning the Ville-Marie tunnel in Montreal last Wednesday.

The street worker, Denis Theriault, was removing residue from a dumpster and found the bracelet in the process, he said.

He saw the Duhamel's name engraved on the bracelet and proceeded to hand it over to authorities.

Jonathan Duhamel is reported to have been pleased with the finding of the bracelet, which he described as having great sentimental value.

The bracelet itself was in a heavily damaged estate, and only the engraved centerpiece remains somewhat intact.

Meanwhile, Rojas-Latraverse and her three accomplices now await trial in the case, charged with a number of crimes, ranging from breaking and entering to assault and conspiracy.

Who cares about the bling man? Isn't it more of an accomplishment to play the game and win it. The memories are what is of real value. Sounds like Jonathan should have invested some of his winnings in security for his home.
