Daniel "jungleman12" Cates has found a winner of his "Good Deeds" video contest. The winner was Daniel Suava, who will now receive a free entry into the 2012 WSOP Main Event worth $10,000.
Daniel "
jungleman12" Cats has announced the winner of his "Good Deeds" video contest, following a two-month voting period.
Cates launched his competition in May, urging fans to send in
videos of themselves doing good deeds.
The videos would be reviewed by Cates, and one lucky winner would then receive a free $10,000 entry to the 2012 World Series of Poker Main Event.
The winner was Daniel Suava, whose "Good Deeds Hugs" video received the most votes from viewers in order to win the grand prize.
Speaking to the
PartyPoker Blog, Suava expressed his excitement with the prize, saying that playing in the Main Event is "a dream come true."
"Words cannot possibly describe how incredibly excited, gobsmacked and thankful I am," Suava said.
"This is a dream come true. Wait, this is real right? Somebody slap me. Whoop whoop! Vegas baby!" the happy winner added.
It is not the first time Cates raffles out a Main Event seat. Back in 2011, the online pro held a similar competition, in which his
Twitter followers were given clues to hidden locations around Las Vegas city.
The followers who picked up the locations were then entered into a draw, before one winner received the $10,000
freeroll into the poker event of the year.
Besides winning the Main Event seat, Daniel Suava will also receive free air travel to Las Vegas, a free room at the Rio Hotel, as well as
free poker training from Cates himself.
