The Aussie Millions came to a conclusion last night, as Dominykas "Domcee" Karmazinas wont the series' final $25,000 Semi-Shootout event for a $200,000 first prize. Karmazinas defeated Elliot Smith heads-up to claim the title.
Following almost a month of intense world-class poker, the 2012 Aussie Millions came to an end last night in Melbourne, Australia.
The Aussie Millions once again delivered some noteworthy winners in among others
Phil Ivey, who took home the win in the $250,000 Super High Roller Challenge ahead of
Patrik Antonius for a $2 million cash prize.
While Ivey and Antonius were squaring off to decide a winner in the Super High Roller, the series' last event also found a winner, as Dominykas "Domcee" Karmazinas won the $25,000 Semi-Shootout.
The Semi-Shootout saw a small but talented field of 20 players line up, among them world stars like JC Tran,
Daniel Alaei and Tony G.
The final table counted all of the above plus Dan Kelly, Elliot Smith and Karmazinas.
With money for only the top-four finishers, the final table would be an intense affair, but eventually Tony G got the doubtful honor of bubbling the event as he busted in fifth place, shortly after Alaei had hit the rail in sixth.
Tony G was followed by Dan Kelly in fourth and JC Tran in third, leaving Elliot Smith and Karmazinas to fight for the first place and the title as the Aussie Millions last champion this year.
The decision fell as Karmazinas moved all-in with

, only to find himself in terrific shape against Elliot's

. The flop delivered no surprises, and Karmazinas could lift his arms to celebrate the victory.
"Guess who took it down! That bottle is coming back to Lithuania! Thanks for all support from around the world!" Karmazinas commented via
his Facebook after the win.
For the win, the Lithuanian pro will collect $200,000. The cash is Karmazina's second biggest so far, following his third place finish at the 2010 EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo for €700,000.
