PartyPoker has announced that Finnish high stakes specialist Patrik Antonius will be joining the line-up at the upcoming Premier League event in April. Antonius will join some of the world's best players in the 16-player event.

Patrik Antonius, PartyPoker announced on Thursday.
The Premier League event has rapidly grown into one of the most popular televised poker events in the industry, and will now be able to add even more public appeal after the addition of Antonius.
The league is a 16-player event, which features sit & go's in different variations, with the contestants gathering points for their achievements for a running league leader board.
The player with the most points will then be awarded a $100,000 first prize, as well as an entry ticket for the $25,000 WPT World Championship at the Bellagio in May.
So far, PartyPoker has crowned a number of Premier League champions, including fan favorites like
David Benyamine, Andy Black, JC Tran, and Juha Helppi.

The upcoming event has already secured a hefty line-up consisting of players such as Tony G, Luke "FullFlush" Schwartz, Vanessa Selbst, Sam Trickett, and as of Thursday, Patrik Antonius.
The last Mixed Game Premier League event in November was won by WPT Player of The Year Andy Frankenberger, who will also be present to defend his title.
The upcoming PartyPoker Premier League will be the fifth version to be played so far, and will take place from April 4 to 10 in Vienna, Austria.
Besides the many pro players lining up, PartyPoker will also offer two seats to qualifying players.
