Phil Galfond has written a new blog, discussing how happiness plays a major part in every poker player's life. Making a small sacrifice, Galfond writes, can indeed help you to find more happiness in life.

"I used to feel like I HAD to work hard, and I was doing the 'right' thing by maximizing me earn rate rather than being my happiest. It almost felt like a duty… like it was honorable."
"But now when faced with a decision of making a sacrifice in happiness for more $EV in poker, I'm no longer comparing apples to oranges. I'm choosing apples (happiness) or apples (happiness.)
As always, Galfond's blog is an interesting peak into the mindset of one of the game's most successful players of all time, offering some insight into the deepest corners of what it takes to be a poker pro
