Phil Galfond books $400,000 win to reach $1M 2012 profits
Phil "MrSweets28" Galfond has dominated the high stakes action for the past 24 hours, booking a massive $400,000 win. The Canadian-based American is now among the biggest winners of the year with more than $1 million in profits.
Phil "MrSweets28" Galfond has been running hot for the past 24 hours in the high stakes games on PokerStars and is now the biggest winner of the past day with a massive $400,000 profit.

The hot streak will come as welcome boost to the Canada-based American, who started out his week in miserable style, losing close to $300,000 on Monday and Tuesday.

However, with the past heater, Galfond has now recovered all of these losses, and he will now move into third place of the overall 2012 winners list with total profits of more than $1 million, according to Highstakesdb.com.

Most of Galdfond's profits from yesterday and this morning came from a juicy session against a number of regulars, including the likes of "Ben86", Ilari "Ilari FIN" Sahamies, "RaiseOnce", Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky, "Zypherin", "Deldar182" and the biggest winner of the year so far, Jens "Jeans89" Kyllönen.

Galfond among other things took home the biggest hand of the day worth $148,000, as he created a massive three-way all-in pot with a pair of aces, only to hold all the way to the river against "LuckyGump" and Ilari Sahamies.

For Sahamies, the run-in with Galdfond would turn out to be an overall expensive lesson, as he ended up dropping more than $260,000 to become the biggest loser of the past day's action.

Other big losers included "LuckyGump", who dropped $121,000 and the anonymous "Zypherin", who lost another $123,000 to bring his total 2012 losses to a little more than $1.1 million - the biggest of all so far.

Actually doing is very important to the online poker business.
It's amazing that there are too many players that are played every day many thousands of dollars, and continue playing regardless of their losses.

Congratulations to Phil "MrSweets28" Galfond, or have obtained this $ 400,000.
