Phil "The Unabomber" Laak has according to the poker pro's own website been involved in a serious accident including his all terrain vehicle during a drive on Friday. Despite the unfortunate ride, Laak is however in a stable state, having suffered only minor injuries to his arm and eye.

It was The Unabomber himself who broke the news of his accident via his Twitter account on which he posted pictures accompanied by the following messages:

"ATV accident, massive arm injury and lacerations to the eye in Oregon. Life is good. Stitches forthcoming. Could have been worse, I'm lucky to be in one piece."

The Unabomber's accident took place in the desert close to Oregon where he was riding in the dunes with his good friend Antonio Esfandiari. Esfandiari later sent out yet another tweet stating that "he will be ok".

The always energetic Phil Laak is known for his drive for action, enjoying a lot of other radical sports such as sky diving, judo, scuba diving, and motorcycling.
