Cake Poker has just started a new promotion titled Series 2012, which gives players access to special satellites that will reward players with seats to the 2012 World Series of Poker! It’s just a few short weeks until the 2012 WSOP begins and Cake Poker wants to be sure that their players are in attendance!

Series 2012 is a Steps competition. There are Four Steps satellites that lead up to the $10K Main Event Final. Players can choose to start out at Step One and work their way up to the Final or they can choose to buy-in directly to any Step level or the Main Event Final.

Step 1 has a buy-in of $0.20 + $0.10 and one player will advance to Step 2 for each $3.30 in the prize pool. This event takes place every two hours. Step 2 has a buy-in of $3.30 and one player will advance to Step 3 for every $22 in the prize pool. This event takes place every 4 hours.

Step 3 has a buy-in of $22 and one player will advance to Step 4 for every $65 in the prize pool. This event takes place every 4 hours. Step 4 has a buy-in of $60 + $5 and will see one player advancing to the $10K Main Event for every $215 in the prize pool. This event also takes place every four hours.

The $10K Main Event Final has a buy-in of $200 plus $15 and will reward one $10K Main Event prize package to the WSOP for every $10K in the prize pool. This event will take place on Sunday’s at 5PM ET. The first Main Event Final is scheduled for April 15th!
