Online poker room Sun Poker recently announced they have updated their VIP Program. The new Loyalty program is titled Shine and it just went live on March 1st. The new VIP program takes the greatness of the original VIP program and takes it up a notch!

The new program allows members of Sun Poker of any level to get a great return and reach a higher level easily. Players will automatically become a member of Shine once they have played their first cash game. Players will earn cash prizes as well as access to special promotions via the Shine program.

Players will earn Shine points as they pay money to the Rake in cash games or in tournament fees. Players will earn a certain amount of points per $1 they place in Rake or in tournament fees will depending on their VIP level.

Players must earn a minimum amount of points to be able to reach a VIP level. The first Shine level is Level 1 and players are not required to earn any points to maintain this status. The VIP levels go up to ten and the higher the level the more points are required to reach the level. Also the higher a player is in the VIP program the more rewards and special promotions they will have access to!
