The Fraternal Order of Police, a lobby group working behind the scenes in Washington on behalf of more than 300,000 law-enforcement officers, has issued an official letter of support of regulated online poker in the United States.
Senator Harry Reid has put an end to speculations that an online poker bill might be attached to the payroll tax bill at the end of this month. Reid did not provide any further explanations for the decision.
