Eugene Katchalov enjoyed outstanding success in 2011 and finished the year as BLUFF Magazine's Player of The Year. The Ukrainian-born pro took home the title in close competition with fellow Team PokerStar Pro, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier.
Eugene Katchalov is holding on to his lead on the Bluff Magazine Player of The Year ranking and is looking to end the year with the title. Bertrand Grospellier and Ben Lamb are in the next two spots.
Ben Lamb will be taking the title as 2011 WSOP Player of The Year, following a deep run in the Main Event. Lamb will collect a minimum of 75 points for the Main Event, putting him ahead of Phil Hellmuth.
Even before the last EPT tournament of 2011 is completed and has found its winner, it is for sure that the businessman Fernando Brito will end on top of the Player of the Year leaderboard.
