Viktor "Isildur1" Blom this morning earned the very first SCOOP title of his career. The young Swedish Team PokerStars pro outlasted more than 8,000 players to claim a $247,200 win in the series' second event.
Team PokerStars pro Viktor "Isildur1" Blom is usually known for his battles at the cash game tables, where he is regarded as one of the top players in the world.
On the tournament side, Blom is no beginner either, and this morning he demonstrated this yet again as he took home the win in PokerStars' Spring Championship of Online Poker's Event #2 Medium edition.
Blom was one of 8,240 players who had paid the $215 buy-in to fight for a $1 million guaranteed prize pool, and managed to make the final table after two days of play.

Entering the event's last table with the chip lead, Blom put on an impressive display of world class tournament poker, and went on to beat his remaining opponents, including such estimated players as EPT Madrid champion Frederik Brink and tournament specialist "szwindel".
Heads-up, Blom faced Canadian player "RaisingRay91", but he too was no match for the hot-running Swede.
Blom held a 4-1 chip lead when heads-up play began, and kept the advantage all the way to the end until his

The win is Blom's first major online title, and will bring in an impressive $247,200 first prize as well as his first SCOOP title.
Runner-up "RaisingRay91" took home $181,889, while third place went to "szwindel" from Malta for $131,840.
