PokerStars is currently running a special VIP promotion for mobile gamblers. The VIP Club Mobile Freeroll is available until August 15th. Players will be able to play the mobile app at PokerStars and then earn the added benefit of competing in a special freeroll which will have a $100,000 prize pool, not to mention the special iPad 3 prizes for the top 100 finishers of the freeroll!

To compete, players simply need to download the PokerStars mobile application. Then start earning VIP Player Points to be able to earn a seat to the freeroll. 100 VPPs are needed to earn a ticket to the special event. Players will earn VPPs each time they pay a rake during real money ring game play. Players will also earn VPPs when they pay an entry fee to a real money tournament.

Players have until August 15th to be able to earn the 100 VPPs needed to compete in the special freeroll. Players will be sent emails from PokerStars so they can make sure of how many VPPs they have earned. The final email will arrive on August 10th, so be on the lookout because you will still have five more days to earn points if needed.

The freeroll will take place on August 19th at 13:00 ET. The event will have the $100,000 prize pool as mentioned above and will be paid out according to the regular structure at PokerStars. The 20% will be paid and the top 100 players will get the special iPad 3 which will feature an exclusive PokerStars case.
