Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies keeps running hot at the PLO tables on PokerStars. The Finnish superstar has won $112,000 in the past 24 hours and is now up almost $2.3 million for the year.
Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies had yet another big winning night last night, adding more than $100,000 to his bank roll from just 39 hands of PLO $200/$400, according to updates from
Highstakesdb.com.
Sahamies' first opponent in the first of two short session was "Fake Love888", which is rumored to be none other than
Patrik Antonius.
Antonius and "Ziigmund" have clashed on many occasions before with mixed results, but this time around it was Sahamies who would come out a clear winner, taking $78,480 from his opponent in just 14 minutes.
Later on, the Finn took on "1Il|1Il|1il|" and added another $35,000 win, allowing him to end his night with a comfortable six-figure profit.
Sahamies has been completely unstoppable at the tables again in December and he is now up an impressive $317,000 for the month.
He is also the biggest winner of the past 24 hours, while "Fake Love888" ended up the biggest loser, down $87,980.
With the latest winnings, Sahamies is now closing in on the top spot on the all-year winners list with a total profit of $2.3 million.
The only player to have won more than that this year is
Gus Hansen, who is up a bit more than $3.9 million.
The biggest loser of the year with three weeks still to go is Tom "
durrrr" Dwan, who has lost a staggering $2.4 million.
