I posted a reply that i cant remember what the post headline was so i`ll ask here
what i think a cheep way to play live and meet some of the family of this great forum is for members of the same state or surrounding states get together to play at a poker room at a casino that works for most of the players from that state
like me i`m from texas and i know there are members from texas here so if you like this idea let me know and i will try to arrange are own poker table at the winstar world casino, and this can be done in other states as well and in other countrys as well then we can make a post on how everyone did and what a great way to meet the prople ya play against every week this is just a suggestion thats all, just think its a great way to meet some of the great members/players we have in this great forum

I am definitely interested doing the same thing in my area. I could arrange a game at Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, IN (5 min away from Cincinnati) or Horseshoe Casino in Southern Indiana. If anyone is interested, start posting and lets get this started. I think it would be fun even if we did it 4 times a year, we could get together while a WPT or WSOP series is happening and have side bets (last longer, etc)

Yes, I would be interested in something like this. A while back I posted something along this line, (in a blog) to give folks a headsup on a 'gathering' in Las Vegas. I got a little information as far as accommodating groups and what they may offer, but I was looking for the spring of 2013, so was a little far in advance to set anything up. I will continue to keep everyone posted with any updates, if folks are still interested in attending. A few of us were hoping to set up a simple gathering somewhere in Michigan, or New York, somewhere like that, to accommodate folks along the borders of Ontario, Canada. Again, I will keep everyone posted.
