Hi All!
I've had some personal troubles since December, which forced me to take a rest. On top of all my troubles, I lost access to my internet account so was unable to continue playing online. Least of my troubles, my computer crashed on both XP and Vista (dual op computer), so I've spent a lot of my "offline" time reconstructing files and getting downloads for various programs while visiting with friends, using their connection, to affect my updates.
I finally was able to get Carbon fired up and got into a few games with some success. I've tried the $200 FR in PLO and Hold'em but got too anxious and ended up out somewhere in the middle stages. I tried my hand at $1.10 Guaranteed tournies, keeping my patience and finishing in the money. The first one, I was knocked out a couple of times and bought back in for a total buyin of $3.10 and finished 19/290 for a payout of $8.10. The second cost a total of $2.10 with the initial buyin plus the addon, finishing 39/235 for a payout of $4.40. The last tourny played was a 2000 seat WSOP free roll, with the top 10 getting a $0.32 ticket for the WSOP Steps tournaments. I finished 10/2000 winning the ticket to the first step. Patience paid off! Even in the turbo tournament!
I guess the long rest did me some good and, hopefully, I can continue to build my account over the long run!
