WEEK 6 LIVE LEAGUE

AInt gonna lie, getting somewhat frustrated. Tonight is week 5 (whoops I mean WEEK 6) of my live league ($30bi) thing. Appox 30-35 people each week and I yet to hit a final table. I have bubbled the FT on week 2 and Week 3 I ended up pushing near the bubble (which is the FT) and ended up in a 3 way push fisaco that in perfect sense, Im the only one gets knocked out. Week 4 I feel into bad patterens watching people getting paid off playing nonsense hands, yet my nonsense just turn into nonsense LOL. and WEEK 5 I feel into bad patterns watching people and went home after 35 minutes

The quick, went out 11th, so bubbled another FT table. Horrible card all night long, had to makethings work, kept sucha tight image cause I really never got cards that the hands I raised or re-raised, I took down immediaely and all of them were off pure crap. HIghest pp was 77 and highest whole cards were AJ. Even if I wanted to loosen up to crazy standards, no suited conectos, mostly 2 gapped connectors or just hard to play cards.
READ ABOUT CHIP STACK COUNTING PROBLEMS FOR ME BELOW- blinds 1600/800 antes 200 (this eats up a stack quick) come back from 2nd break IM BB with this new blind level and Id of had 200 chips left if I had just folded this BB so with K7o vs AK vs A3 Nobody hit anything I had a ton of outs open on the river when 3 hearts hit the board on turn and I had the only heart of the bunch but river misses everyone, One again 3 people shove and Im the only one that gets knocked out FRUSTRATING AS HELL
Only big double up was ME shoving 77 into AKs and the sevens held for appox 2.2K double up. (OHyea starting chips for these leagues are 2500)
Biggest Mistake I get AJ (BB), and a MP player and LP player both shove (appox 3K eachin chips and both have me covered). I felt like my ace was gonna be dominated and it was AQ vs AQ vs AJ flop ??J ? ? SO I guessI should of just threw caution to the wind here as I would of easily survived to final table with that kind of triple up

ARLY ON MISTAKE I limp in Mp with 22 (already 2 limpers in this pot) (Blinds 25/50 no antes) LP raiser makes 225 and I figured that was too high a price to call with since everything are over cards here. Flop 2AJ (IM folded) and only the BB stayed in the pot with the LP raiser and they made this a pot for A7 to beat A5 WTF????? no 2 pairs even, THis was my mistake I guess but that size raise this early I expected a different showing
Sucks to bubble but an interesting dichotomy here. When I was still playing a lot of online poker (pre 6 months ago) and also playing in the free bar leagues (I have live blog after live blog on this league), I had this mix of tight players (Online) and ultra loose player playing beer league poker. So six months I disappear from forums to play just live games and played online rarely. Realizing that forums are a great outlet for poker, I decided I needed to get my online play back on focus. ANd quickly found out, that I had become a much looser player, its showed very fast I need to snap back into shape. So now I get some cashes playing online, but tonights live game seemed so loose (in fact like I said players consider a $30 bi as freeroll and also words like roulette and words were being thrown around) that I found myself just out of place. Maybe its the fact that the whole cards were horrible the whole night (no aa kk qq Jj TT AK AQ KQ KJ NONE OF THIS STUFF TONIGHT) that I had no foundation to really play poker. As I said my tightness at the table enabled me to take pots quick, but sporadicallly did this, the best steal is when I had 2 people inthe pot and I was BB and had a nice stack, THE SB re-raises the people in the pot and Just jam 4K into this pot with Q7s, I fold everyone take a nice pot and the SB says why do you get a good hand when I do, I was thinking If you only knew.

You want some Live vs Online stuff, paying antes live in a pain in the ass, Its much easier Seeing a number that represent your chip stack online as opposed to have a idea that you have 6-500 chips and 27-100 chips and 18-25 chips (Just ansxample) is hard to say you have 6125 chip stack, I really got a better grip of my actual chips when I have big stacks built.
FUn game, frustrating card selections as I kept saying it finally has to come, and it never did. SO I feel I made good with what I had to deal with, OH YEA One other player asked if the cards could be washed, and WE ARENT ALLOWED TO GET CARDS WASHED IN THIS MTT's (Floor had to be called to tell us this)
ON A SIDENOTE- THe place is really rocking with sattys into the heartland poker land, A few of them are running almost nonstop $180 top 10% get in $360 top 20% get in, EXCITMENT IN THE AIR

This will prob my last blog (HENCE THE WORD BLOG) meaning people need space to write, I keep having to chop up normal size post and like a blog I did on a bigger game I lost half of what I posted (And the whole back story to second half of thepost appeared to be there when made it but then was gone so the blog makes no sense) and theres no way to start editing all this down, BLOGS NEED SPACE Ihad to chop this up into 3 pieces, its just too much chopping up and I dont write quick stuff
