Any Hope for Online Poker?
With the latest problems that have touched even the biggest poker rooms online, the rush of several countries to regulate the game and the economical crisis around the world, the question remains: Is there any hope for online poker to get over these problems and stand strong to offer us tables and nice games?
Only one of the "Black Friday" affected poker rooms paid in due time, the others are still trying to keep their head out of the grave and are still receiving attacks from the government.
The future seems uncertain and with a clear trend to the catastrophe...
After USA and some European countries take down poker, will other nations around the world do the same?

As long as people are willing to risk their money, online poker will remain

All we need to do is regulate it. The government is spending obscene amounts of money to hurt online poker when it could be making a TON of money in tax revenue. STUPID

There was too much money being made without the government getting there share. I don't think it will ever be what it used to be

It should come back just as strong if not stronger once USA is allowed back into the market. Might also find more competition between sites that could result in a better product at lower cost (rake). At least with deposit incintives.

Sure very few Americans wont have a problem redepositing at PokerStars, but might find it hard to stay loyal to FTP. For me, once that site is open for business, I'll be waitting in the long line to withdraw! It was my site of preference before Black Friday, not any more regardless of the software and previous customer support.

Rumors have been heard in canada, that the Canadian Government is wantint to create a poker site all it's own . They see the opportunity to add to make some bux. Not sure where they are in this project but I have a feeling that other countrys may follow suit. My takes will no doubt include my poker playing income (no worries cause it's not much right now).
