My Boys adventure in Grande Prairie Alberta
So my boy is doing wonderful out west makin good money and some new friends. He gets a ride to and from work with the part time boss.He asked him if he could help with gas and buddy said sure every other month you can top up my fuel as sometimes they have to leave their trucks running 24/7 due to the cold. Anywho yesterday he topped buddies truck up and the cost was just short of $50. As he is going to the attendant to pay a lady says hello and bein from friendly Cape Breton he says hello back. She then asks if she can pay his fuel bill!! WHHAATTT...he says sure and she proceeds to pay it for him and gives him a $7 Lotto Max ticket for Saturdays draw...CRazy eh,I have heard of this happening at Walmart and places ...good sameritan or good deed doer or just someone with extra money,God Bless you kind lady,it would be nice to have enuf cash to do this to people,as when ever I was kind to someone it always comes back in spades....!!!

That is a very uplifting story to hear. Thank you for sharing.

I, like you, wish I had the money to be able to do that for people. As there are plenty of people out there needing the help.

I had my bridge toll paid for me once after crossing the Mackinaw bridge, but I figured that was just because the person in front of me saw the look of terror on my face during the lonnngggggg drive over the water!!! I hyper-concentrated on the license plate ahead of me. LOL :)

There is still kindness in the world. :)

Us prairie folk are pretty nice eh! Is he working in the oilfield drilling or servicing perhaps. A few years back, I went to Nova Scotia for my step sons graduation in the Valley. Beautiful province with some very nice people. Lots to do and see. Rode a wooden roller coaster, went to a zoo in which the lady that owns it, I believe rescued most of the animals. She had lions, tigers, camels and many more. It was great. Would like to go back some day.

Random acts of kindness have always inspired me. I ran out of gas with my wife and my new born baby and the person who owned the house we ended up running out in front of walked out of his garage with the biggest red gas tank I had ever seen! I remember it giving us nearly a 1/8 of a tank and got us to the gas station safely. Always makes me want to return the favor when this kind of things happen, cause it comes back around 10 fold, its Karma!
