What was my mistake?
I could use some input on improving my game. Here is a prime example of why? looking back on it i could have raised more pre-flop. And also just gone all in on the flop?

Did my post get deleted, or did I make a mistake? Oh well, I'll try again. 88 is tough to play UTG, but why do you guys keep on raising each other on the flop? Weird

I just posted a reply too..grrrrr....

i woulda raised pre...to help define oppo's hand...and then when you raised ' to me to you to me to you to me to you' ...kinda like pass the parcel...lets see who's got the hot potato when the music stops....like you were both afraid of the hand....but he was less afraid cos he had ya covered...

i woulda just shoved if i thought i was up....its no fun when the trapper becomes the trapped...

glgl to ya bugs..catch up with ya later..:)

Our replies ended up on the page showing the hand. I just noticed that. A little trap to fall into

I think you're wrong you never called all in before the flop, you should not be afraid when you have a pair, you must count on your chance, so you left your opponent to see cards and had the chance to do three pieces. It is very good and your strategy, but when you saw that you had paid to think he has something bigger than you may have in hand pair greater without using cards that flopped
