Yes , when playing in friendly or play chip games & mostly only very good hands , hoping to give the impression that I never bluff , lol . Once in a while I'll also show a hand to set up something later & very rarely I'll show a hand against a player that has pissed me off , again trying to set them up for later ! When playing for real money , I like to keep them guessing , you have to pay to see them & usually pay large !

Never. Blasphemy. Horrific.

Yeah, well on occasion with friends I'll show the monster. Rarely will I show a bluff, unless i know it will tilt ... (damn villains) otherwise, just muck and go on to the next hand.

Where's ed?

I had a hard press rule, never show a hand for any reason. Few conversations at a live cash table changed my mind. There is an advantage to showing a hand and mainting table imagine or keeping the table dynamics in a favorable way to you. Especially playing forum games to where you already have history, honestly what information are withholding?

Have found in the right situation, it can buy you so much more than not showing. Reading the table, know your imagine, coupled with all the relevant facts (chip stack, postion, ect.) can be the difference in a hand you wouldn't of otherwise won. Especially if you are playing with those who know you will show. Wouldn't be so tight withholding information that most already know.
