Yesterday I played in a WSOP stage 3 on PKR.
The buy-oìin was around 50$ but fortunatly I qualified via stage 2 so I just used the ticket. There were 15 players and only 3 215$ WSOP Final Stage tickets.
At the begining I've been very lucky hitting a set vs set with my QQ winng againg the set of tens of my opponent. I doubled up in the hand.
After that I played tight and finished in the final table.
After hour of folding and with high blinds I shoved a couple of times, bringing me back in average.
However the luck wasn't with me anymore.
I was 3rd in chips with 5 players and the shortest went all in from the button. I picked KQ and after thinking a bit I called. The opponent had J8s and an 8 come at the flop.
After some hands I picked AJs and from the cut off I decided to rasie. Unfortunatly the bb went all in and I had to call for the great odds (more than 1/4). He had 88 and the pair won at the river.
The very next hand I picked JJ and raised. The bb, second in chips, called. The flop was 789 and after the check of my opponent I put my last chips in. Unfourtnatly he had JT and eliminated me with a straight.
I finished 5 but there was a player relly short (with less than 2 bb) so I can say I bubbled it.
However I'll try to be in the final stage soon.
