Busy, busy, busy.
Time seems to be flying by at the moment. I think this is mostly due to the insane amount of things I am trying to work on at the same time, but nonetheless I am enjoying keeping busy with little projects all over the place. Besides the usual grind I am making vids for husng.com, as well as working on some mtt videos for a couple of sites, writing a new article, blogging, being a social media whore, interviews, as well as the competition I am currently running for free coaching (
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/185/heads-up-sng/mjw006-sells-out-free...). It's been a pretty full on time in my career, but I'm definitely enjoying the challenges it is providing.
The grind has been really non-eventful over the past week. I really didn't manage to get anything going across the week but was quite happy with the way I have played, especially yesterday (Sunday/Monday). I felt great all day yesterday but couldn't manage a result anywhere, which always makes for expensive Sunday grinds. I would say I ran pretty bad overall yesterday, but the most frustrating part was losing AK to A3 vs a 3b shove from a reg for a really good stack with 65 people left in the Sunday Warmup. After this I had multiple instances of getting deepish but things not going my way which I have learned to expect from mtt's. I just need to regroup, keep my head down and play well, and the rest will sort itself out.
I did an interview on the weekend with Chris Wallace from the 'Under the Gun' Podcast which can be found on PokerXfactor as well as iTunes. Unfortunately Chris misunderstood my current situation and made the statement that I am sponsored by Pokerstars before I got on and after the interview. He cleared it up
here, but it was merely a simple misunderstanding which we can probably put down to my silly Australian language

. Nonetheless, it was a very fun interview and you can check it out here ->

I have also been working on some MTT content for a couple of sites which I will announce as it is released, and recorded a new vid for husng.com today which should be released shortly. I think the new video for husng.com should be really interesting as it deals with something that I don't think there is a lot of content about. I discuss playing vs a regular who doesn't cbet a high % and how to deal with the ongoing dynamics surrounding that, so hopefully you guys all enjoy it. Be sure to leave comments because I think we can certainly get some interesting discussion going about it all.
Last thing to update is the Pocket Fives Mid-stakes
TLB contest. The team I am in currently has a 400 or so point lead which is quite nice mid-month, but gotta keep our grinds up because it is a long way from run and won. That's all for today, I feel exhausted thinking about all of these things at the same time haha. Hope you guys are all doing well!
Matt
