I had a good laugh today.
I played on Full Tilt the romanian freeroll, that's every day, $100, top 27 share the money, with like 1500 players field, most are no shows. I didn't make ITM, but I had a good laugh on some player that busted out in like 2 hands, with the last one being screwed by the deck, but that's poker, we all know that.
Well he was still sitting there, railing but swearing, making comments on plays and players, and that made us all laugh of him, some even pushing him a little towards that.
I remember that sometimes I did the same... probably others had a good laugh on my behalf, probably I was their laughing stock.
I missed registration for this weekend tournaments... My bad, let it to the last minute, proved that that last minute didn't last long...
So I did one thing I promised myself long ago: watched the game from the outside, I was thinking of myself as of an old smoker, guilty and secretly enjoying his vice, by passively smoking, inhaling the air filled with cigar smoke...
But the word here in poker is clear: it's railing, so that's is what I did, watching plays and players I have an interest in.
Ever got to the point when no matter what you do or how you play, even the same (pocket) cards, the outcome is the same? ..defeat, where in tournaments means ending it(early)?
So here it is Sunday's bust out, pocket kings involved
here.
Hands like that stays in my mind, time and time again replaying it, looking for another result.
Again, not a poker blog, but (wow) in the realm of world affairs. I just read on Yahoo an interesting piece of news:
North Korea vowing to nuke US .
Where's the common sense gone? Are they insane? Beside all the asymmetry, looking like a flea trying to wrestle an elephant, they don't seem to remember or to look back in recent history, where, a much bigger opponent for US, the former USSR, went bankrupt, collapsing into pieces.
Well, I did it!
For some time now I promised myself to take a break from the game, be it tables and real play , forums or videos, but never acted that way. It happened without my will, unnoticed, due to winter holidays and, on top of that, the crash of my windows / pc. The idea of installing all the required software and remembering / recovering the passwords kept me away stronger than the need to play.
What happened meanwhile? The gamer resurfaced, I found myself a new pass-time.
What will happen next? I'll see how that time away from the tables will influence me and my play, the spring season is here.
See you at the tables.
Back in FOOL TILT's glory days, I could tell the opponent's holding simply by the looking at the board on the river. Well, nothing changed, I still have it...
What starts like a steal, backed with some good cards, from the small blind, the very first hand for me at this table, turns uggly by the river. For what I care FOOL TILT is what it was before, a joke. Needless to say, after this the player disconnects and plays no more.
A very special moment today

Where was I ? On the road, heading nowhere, since the road ahead was, as bellow,

heavy to deal through, and totally blocked further ahead.
Still, winter is the season close to my heart, just for the fact there's no dust, no heat to make you sweat endlessly...
And I was born in a winter day.
Well today was a special day for me: I was on the other side.
Everyone had days at poker, when no matter what you play, no matter how toy play, you end up against the same player with the second best hand, so close to winning, but still the second best hand, times and times again.
Today, I was the other person, the one who won, no matter what I played (microstakes, as usual), no matter how I played, against another player... Must say, the feeling is strong, invincibility, also uselessness as a player, when facing a helping deck.
...or maybe FOOL TILT?
So they started today, and at some point in the day, they released their horses into the real money games...
The feeling is weird: it all continues from the point where it faded in 2011: freerolls with long forgotten tickets as entries (WSOP 2011 Fantasy freeroll or TLB/ Tournament Leaderboard for 2011, and so on).
Still I can't shake the feeling, the hatred feeling I felt playing here, then and now, caused by countless bad beats, not even erased by the speedy withdraws...
...the bingo flavoured feeling of the donkey being rewarded for his bravery of calling a shove preflop with any 2 it's still there...
For some time I thought I was left out and behind, but, then I received the famous FullTilt mail in my inbox.
