SNGs
There was a time that all i played pretty much was MTTS. Then i got to the point that i didnt have 6 hours or so to sit in the same game to win a few dollars. I guess i ran out of patience. Alot of the games with rebuys and addons is something i rarely liked to do, perhaps a addon if i am running well but i always looked at it if i had to rebuy it was not my day so it was time to move on and find something else to play.
Whenever i was not running well i just played sngs, low cost, bankroll boost, kinda thing, and not more than $5.50 invested at any given time.
As I was riding out my down swing i really have became a sng player. I have had alot more success this way and much better pay days, with alot less time invested in the same game.
I know i will never hit the big one this way but it keeps the bankrolls topped up and prevents me from having to deposit, which is great.
Now on a good day if i throw in a MTT or two maybe i can have a perfect combination.
So..... if you get frustrated try a few sngs to get your daily fix.
Good Luck!!

I have much the same approach, i like playing the bounty sng cuz usually i can make my money back and not finish ITM. i like to take whatever winnings i made and goto the next level of buyins till ive made enough to buyin to a good value mtt. i too will never make it big, but as long as i dont have to deposit, i am happy. gl kathy

Yes Pricey this is very good advice. I tend to do the same thing but not with sngs but ring games. I find myself more and more these days while playing in mtt's jumping into a ring game at the same time and will usually make my buy-in back before before the first break. Been playing PLO for the last few months and will usually get that buy_in back ten fold. I do play sngs but usually play them when I haven't the time for mtt's.

There's some good advice here for everyone. The mtts are great once in a while but playing the small games, that you know you can win, is how you can keep your Bankroll topped up. Nice win there by the way.

I have always enjoyed the SNG format. I also do not have the time or patience for the long drawn out MTTs. Keep cranking Pricey. Well done.

I guess it's about finding a balance between enjoying yourself and winning a few $$ here and there. I started off playing just MTT's too, but things change and now I look for a variety of ways to donk of my money at the tables.

Well done, Ms Pricey. I like those quickie games at 888, as well. All the best in your games!
