Movin up
Hey guys,

Just gonna be a short update im in uni atm.

So I decided I couldnt do the sng challenge on lock poker as the 1 tble sng in the micros dont run often, I usually only endup playing 6 games of sng per day so i transferred my roll from lock into my ps bankroll.

My bankroll at PS is really healthy I moved up to 25nl last month, Im still following the rules I set out when I deposited 30$. Since I have over 50 buy ins for 25nl, I will play this untill I have 50 buy ins for 50nl which is $2500. Been running quite well at 25nl, I decided to make a few changes though. I stopped playing lots of tables instead im currently playing 4 tables which I realized is much better because I dont play "auto-pilot" style instead I try to play more poker which is profitably going well.

Ill add more tables eventually, I just dont want to make the same mistake I made when I moved up from 10nl, which just basically opening up 8-12 tables and playing "auto pilot", which is why I couldnt beat this stake when I first moved to it. I eventually fixed this by playing less tables and the more confident I got then slowly added more tables.

The big difference that I found at 25nl was the relentless 3betting pre flop, between the positions "CO", "button", "sb", and "bb", and the countless supertight players and hyper aggression of some. This is a pretty cool stake and very different.

Ill update graph as soon as I get home, I had a mid term exam tomorro and still studying. Also summer is coming yeaaaah!! The weather in wollongong today was super nice, not really a fan of cold weather, rainy weathers and stuff just dont like winter in general haha.

good luck to all the grinders!

*graph update*

It does looks amazing good, I just wish my graph were better.

I'm more for MTT players than a cash game grinder.

Im not trying to be negative, so I hope you don't take this response that way. I am not saying this applies to you even, because I read that you are following your strict rules of 50 buyins. But one thing i noticed, is players are overly focused on moving up limits and they tend to move up earlier than they should. Yes it is important to take shots once in a while and you have to move up to make enough profit, but there are things to gain by staying at smaller stakes and continuing to dominate and get better and better there. I think players should set a goal to be one of the best players at the stakes they play at before moving up.
