Already leading the WSOPC leaderboard he goes and ships the MainEvent in Philly for his 1st ring!!!!

I think we could get him for an interview after he does all the big magazine rounds again.

One of the highlights of my time at poker.org.

Who knows maybe some more of these in the future. Who would everyone like to see interviewed next?
Guy tells me your such a donk for making that call. So i ask him how many games have you played and hes like oh this is my first one and then goes to berate me and tell me ill pretty much never amount to nothing in the league and how my style doesnt work. so i play along and say yeah im a rookie this is one of my first games in the league also.

moral of the story
Even the greats get called a donk. Its how you handle yourself at the table and responding to such accusations that really determine what type of poker player and man you are.

edit 3/24 the player has since commented on the y2icon thread in club

this is where we can keep all our good ideas in one spot so when guru and ioi have the free time they can consider how WE think the site can improve
The most touching post i've seen on poker.org

Congrats to Ari Engel on his record tying 5th wsopc ring!
When I came back about 2 months ago i saw IOI http://www.poker.org/player/ioi/

posted about a new type of accolade/trophy thread and I was wondering what everyone thought about a hall of fame one?

I always love the hall of fame discussion in any sport and poker is no exception.

Our hall of fame would start of course with the most deserving player on the site RK.

I'd dare anyone to tell me me someone else is more deserving then him!

The cash got spread around at Carbon Poker Sunday, as perennial Team Bluff weekly leaderboard winner “y2icon” got deep in the Sunday $50k, and won his teammates some cash. In addition to his own score, y2icon put some money in the pockets of his Team Bluff teammates “89yotastacked”, “upay4mykidzdiapers”, “savagedragon19″ and “najr82″. Each won money simply for being a part of Team Bluff.
Y2icon has been putting on a show in the month of November, sweeping the last four Team Bluff weekly leaderboards. The ‘icon’ himself is in complete command of the monthly leaderboard, and it appears he will be playing the Team Bluff pro player heads up for the $500 cash. Again, if he wins, his teammates also win. “89yotastacked” has been putting up quite a fight for the monthly leaderboard, winning a big multitable tournament Sunday to significantly cut into the lead.
In the Carbon $50k Sunday, “y2icon” was cruising with four tables left when his K-J ran into pocket aces on a king-high board. “y2icon” was freerolled into the tournament by virtue of his weekly leaderboard victory. He picked up $400 for his troubles, and put some money in his teammates pockets in the process.
Can anyone stop the juggernaut that is y2icon? He has won four straight weekly leaderboards, and is out in the early lead to win another.
