Offering two ways to play at Poker Heaven, players may choose between the instant-play flash client, or the Poker Heaven download version. The instant play version provides access for Windows, Mac and Linux users to Texas Hold'em cash games and tournaments; whereas the Poker Heaven download version furnishes a variety of poker forms, including Omaha, Stud games, and 5 Card Draw for the PC.

For those who wish to install the Poker Heaven software on their computer, click the Poker Heaven download link, select the preferred language, and choose the location in which to save the setup file pokerheaven.exe. Be sure to remember where the Poker Heaven download is saved as it will be needed to perform the installation of the online poker client.

Once the Poker Heaven download file is saved, double-click pokerheaven.exe to commence the Poker Heaven installation process. Some users may need to confirm that they wish to run the application, depending on the computer's security settings. Then simply click Next to continue with the Poker Heaven software installation.


First the user will be asked to select a directory in which the Poker Heaven download will be installed. The default directory, C:\Program Files\Poker Heaven, is recommended for those who are not well acquainted with their computer's filing system. Those who have customized their computer's filing system, or are reasonably familiar with it, may click browse to select the directory in which to install the Poker Heaven download. Then click Next to move on.

Now the Poker Heaven download should be ready for installation. The user can click Next to begin unpacking the Poker Heaven download files into the chosen directory, or click back to make any necessary changes before beginning. The installation process is rather swift on a fairly modern computer system. Once the Poker Heaven download has been installed on the computer, the user can click Finish, and launch the Poker Heaven online poker client.

The user is required to register an account with Poker Heaven in order to participate in any real or play money games, or even to watch a game in progress. To register, click the Login button at the bottom of the Poker Heaven lobby window, then click New User. One player per household may sign up with Poker Heaven, and players in the United States, Italy or Turkey are not permitted to register an account.

Once the player has registered an account, they may participate in the play money games, or rail any of the Poker Heaven tables. To join the real money cash games and tournaments, the player will need to make a deposit into their real money online poker account at Poker Heaven.
