Professional
high stakes cash game player, Abe Mosseri, has been a regular at the Big Game in Bobby's Room, as well as an
online poker success under the moniker "EazyPeazy". While he has not garnered the media attention bestowed upon tournament
poker players, Abe Mosseri is well respected as a fixed limit mixed game specialist among his cash game peers.
Starting out as a backgammon player in New York, Abe Mosseri moved on to gin rummy when the game became more profitable than backgammon. Having much financial success with gin rummy, when Abe "EazyPeazy" Mosseri discovered online poker, he dove straight into the $100/$200 games. With encouraging results in the online poker arena, soon Abe Mosseri was seeking the biggest live cash games he could find.
Though not an avid tournament player, Abe Mosseri does dip his fingers into the live
poker tournament action, and has amassed nearly $1M in live tournament cashes since 2003. Abe Mosseri has cashed five times in WPT events, including a 4th place finish in the 2003 Bellagio Five-Diamond World Poker Classic $10,000 WPT No Limit Hold'em Championship worth almost $175K. In 2009, Mosseri claimed his first WSOP bracelet in the $2,500 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball Event for a prize of $165,521.
