Often found playing high stakes ring games at Full Tilt Poker, DIN_FRU has proven to be quite the formidable online poker player since his emergence on Full Tilt in 2008. Though he has won and lost a respectable fortune at the Fixed Limit Texas Hold'em tables, DIN_FRU is also known to be a strong Omaha and mixed game player.

Widely believed to be Swedish poker player, Erik Sagstrom, DIN_FRU is good friends with Gus Hansen, and has been addressed as 'Erik' by David Oppenheim during a Full Tilt game that also included Phil Ivey and David Benyamine. Other poker aliases used by Erik Sagstrom include Erik123 and TheSalmon.

When DIN_FRU first started out at Full Tilt Poker, he quickly rose to great heights, earning over $900K in poker winnings between November 25 and December 29 of 2008. In July of 2009, DIN_FRU's online poker winnings peaked at $1.76M, before a losing streak knocked his profits into the negative for three months; a degree of variance that is not unusual for career online poker players. Within a year, DIN_FRU was back on top, showing over $1.4M in Full Tilt Poker winnings.

Erik Sagstrom is no stranger to the live poker tournament scene. In November of 2002 Erik landed his first live cash in the Master Classics of Poker with a third place win for $10K. A few months later, in February of 2003, Erik made two final tables in the Euro Finals of Poker WPT, one of which was a first place win at No Limit Texas Hold'em for over $20K.

The following year Erik found himself at another WPT final table, and also finished in the money with 31st place in the WPT main event in December, 2004. Erik saw another WPT final table in April of 2005, taking 5th place for $25K in a No Limit Hold'em event. In 2009, Erik Sagstrom made his first WSOP final table, taking an admirable 3rd place in the World Series of Poker HORSE World Championship, proving himself to be a savvy and proficient mixed game player.
