Offering a 111% first time deposit bonus of up to $1.100, the UB bonus is one of the largest
available. Every player making their first, initial deposit of $10 or more at UB qualifies for the 111% deposit bonus. All that is required is that the depositor enter the referral code top1100 when making that first deposit.
The UB bonus dollars are released into the player's account in $5 increments as Status Points are accumulated when the player is dealt into real money ring games, or enters
online poker tournaments at UB with an entry fee (as opposed to
freeroll tournaments). Points earned for participation in Tournament Blackjack are also applied to the release of UB bonus dollars. Any UB bonus dollars that are not cleared from the player's pending bonus account within 60 days of the first deposit will expire. However, after the 60 days are up, the player will keep all UB bonus dollars that have been transferred to the player's real money account.
Because the UB bonus is tied in to UB's
loyalty program, RAI$E, the number of Status Points required to clear each dollar of the welcome bonus will depend on the player's level of activity on the site. The more Status Points the player gains at UB, the higher their status level in the RAI$E Ladder. Players on the first three levels of the UB RAI$E ladder (Member, Player, or Contender) will need to earn 20 Status Points for each bonus dollar. Players who reach the 4th status level (Legend) will clear 1 bonus dollar for every 18 Status Points earned, and players at the fifth level (Icon) will need only 17 Status Points per bonus dollar.
One way to obtain Status Points is by playing real money
online poker tournaments and sit and gos. UB's players acquire 1 Status Point for every $.30 paid in tournament entry fees. Fractional points are not displayed, however, they are carried over and added in the next time points are collected. Thus, when a player buys-in to a $20+$2 sit and go ($20 goes to the prize pool, and the +$2 is the entry fee), they will receive 6 Status Points, with the fractional remainder (.66) carried over to the next time an entry fee is paid. The same specifications apply to Tournament Blackjack at UB.
Status Points attained in cash games are awarded based on the stake levels, betting structure and, in some cases, the number of hands played. For example, $.01/$.02 Limit cash games require a player be dealt into 20 raked hands in order to secure 1 Status Point. For a $.01/$.02 No Limit or Pot Limit cash game, 15 raked hands are awarded 1 Status Point. However, $4/$8 Limit games and higher - and $10/$20 No Limit or Pot Limit games and up - will earn a player 2 points for every raked hand they are dealt into.
With the download and installation of the UB poker client completed, and a user account registered, the new player is ready to make their first deposit. The new player decides to deposit $300 with their Visa card, and inputs the UB referral code for a 111% bonus on their deposit. The player now has $300 in their real money account, and $333 pending UB bonus dollars.
Deciding to take a shot at the No Limit Texas Hold'em sit and gos, the new player earns 1 Status Point for ever $.30 paid in entry fees. When the player has accumulated 100 points, $5 of the UB bonus is released into the player's cash account. In order to clear the entire $333 UB bonus, the player will need to acquire a total of 6660 Status Points within 60 days of making their first deposit.
In addition to clearing the UB bonus, the Status Points the player earns each month will also affect their RAI$E Status. The more Status Points the player gains, the the higher their RAI$E Status. As the player climbs the RAI$E ladder, they become eligible for more
rewards and benefits, and will also clear their UB bonus dollars faster.
