The purple jacket could belong to the poker pro if he continues at his current pace

Now that all of the poker action has been pushed to the online scene, many online poker events are welcoming renowned players to their online grounds. The Poker Masters Online Series has started, and Alex William Foxen has paved the way for a great series with his first big win. A total of 30 High Roller and Super High Roller tournaments are being offered in this $16.5million GTD series that has a two-week duration. A purple jacket will be granted to the final leaderboard winner.

Foxen played the third tournament of the day, a $10,000 NLHE that saw 99 entries. The guaranteed $250,000 was surpassed by the registered entries, offering over $300,000 in the final prize pool for the event. Other names from the professional poker world were Jason Koon, David Peters, Timothy Adams and Adrian Mateos.

During this tournament, Foxen battled Elio Fox and Justin Bonomo, who also made it into the money. The final table was full of talent and poker action with Ali Imsirovic, Timothy Adams, Conor Beresford, Mateos and Foxen, who were all behind that title. Also seated at the final table was Artur Martirosian from Russia, who made it all the way to the final heads-up battle against Foxen. After a tough battle, Martirosian could not break the American and Foxen ended up getting a $309,677 prize to add to his Poker Masters campaign.

Elias Talvitie was one of the first big winners when he picked up $481,250 at the $25,000 event. He’s going to give Fox a run for his money for the jacket, but it won’t be an easy task.
