The Poker Masters Online series has come to a very successful conclusion for the poker pro

The Poker Masters Online series has come to an end after showcasing great poker action during this coronavirus pandemic. The event ran a leaderboard with all players getting points in the race for the precious purple jacket, and it was pro player Alexandros Kolonias, who got the jacket, as well as another $50,000 cash prize. This poker series had most of the best pro poker players in the world, the competition was so tight during all 30 tournaments, that it was nearly impossible to pick a favorite to win.

"I am very proud of this win because I think I played the best poker I have ever played, and the competition was really tough. The Purple Jacket is an important title and it feels about the same as winning the WSOP Europe Main Event last year, but that time I had some tears when I won, I was more emotional. I want to thank everyone that supported me, and Poker Central, PokerGO and everyone else that helped to organize these events," said Kolonias after his win. He finished with 11 cashes from tournaments for $1,266,296 in earnings, getting 1,191 points.

This tournament series for masters welcomed 124 players and had a duration of two weeks. The total prize money shared among player was $35.4 million, and poker enthusiasts were able to enjoy some good poker action during the last events that were streamed live on PokerGO’s Facebook page. The final event has 146 entries with a top prize of $367,782 and the main event registered 77 entries as it had a $50,000 buy-in and further created a massive $3.85-million prize pool.
