Americas Cardroom (ACR) is back with the latest rendition of its popular Online Super Series (OSS) offerings in December when the Winter OSS takes center stage, guaranteeing at least $24 million in prize-pool payouts over its three-week run.

Beginning on December 3 and running through December 24, the 148-event series promises plenty of action in a large variety of formats, including, for the first time ever at ACR, two five-card PLO (“Big O”) events. A five-card PLO-8 event will be held on December 4, and a five-card PLO (high hand only) tourney runs on December 11, with both events offering $100,000 guarantees.

The two five-card PLO events aren’t the only non-NLH events that’ll be offered during December’s Winter OSS. These other formats include PLO and PLO-8, Limit O-8, seven-card stud, and stud hi/lo, too.

Of course, there’ll be plenty of no-limit hold’em on tap as well, including turbos and hypers, short-handed events, PKO tourneys, and much more. Most events, NHL and otherwise, will also be offered at three separate buy-in levels — “low”, “medium”, and “high” — to offer access for virtually any player’s bankroll.

Multiple main events headline series

Then there’s the main events — three of them, with buy-ins ranging from $215 to $2,650, spread throughout the series:

• $630 buy-in $1M GTD: Dec 3rd/4th (Day 1s), Day 2 on Dec 5th plays to completion
• $215 buy-in $1M GTD: Dec 11th/18th (Day 1s), Day 2 on Dec 19th plays to completion
• $2,650 buy-in $2M GTD: Dec 11th/18th (Day 1s), Day 2 on Dec 19th plays to completion

The $2,650 “High” main event is one of two events in ACR’s Winter OSS that will offer a $2 million prize-pool guarantee. The other is the first of three massive multi-flight events to also be offered in the series, a $630 buy-in NLH tourney that offers its first opening flights on December 4, and will run all the way through December 18. This event includes 42 separate starting flights, yet that’s not the most. The two other massive multi-flight events in the Winter OSS, with buy-ins of $215 and $22, will each offer 58 separate starting flights, giving players numerous opportunities to move on to Day 2 and a shot at the money.

ACR has already published the complete schedule for the Winter OSS, including all the options for the multi-flight offerings. Visit ACR’s Winter OSS landing page for more information.
