The Smile-Expo conference will take place this Friday
Smile-Expo continues to bring interesting conferences to European grounds, with the most recent one being “Betting in the face of COVID-19,” which will take place this week. The goal is for gambling operators to find new ways to adapt to this global coronavirus pandemic and survive. Attending this meeting will be sports association members, as well as gambling suppliers from several European countries. The conference is scheduled for this Friday at 11:00 Central European Time.
This conference will welcome several industry speakers who will be sharing their thoughts on the current situation. A few iGaming experts will also be on hand, sharing more insights and expertise from an industry that has been booming in the last few years. Ian Smith, Integrity Commissioner at Esports Integrity Coalition (ESIC), will be one of the speakers, as will Mark O’Sullivan, Assistant Manager at KPMG Malta, just to name a few.
Among the topics that will be discussed during this conference, it will include profiting from virtual sports as well as eSports competitions. Another aspect in which companies can profit from during these difficult times is fantasy sports, which is also a topic at the conference.
Thanks to the Internet, these online conferences have big positive points that can compensate for the need to meet in person. First of all, it keeps people safe from catching any viruses. Also, social networking activities can be taken to general chat rooms for attendees to engage in conversations and share contact information. It also saves the environment by saving print versions of all the conference agenda and pamphlets, instead, attendees will be getting emails with speakers’ presentations and video recordings right after.
